Alex Boosali

Mr. Alex Boosalis is Co-Founder and Partner in a private equity firm that invests in micro-cap companies with a specialization in seed/startup investments, operational and financial counsel, management buyouts, and distressed acquisitions.  Concurrently, he is also a key member and equity partner in several successful debt and equity private placements where he plays a strategic role in both the executive management and board-level advisory of those acquired companies.  

Career History

Mr. Boosalis brings 35 plus years of experience as a professional within the corporate finance, merchant banking, and private equity industries. 

He holds expertise within deal structure and valuation analysis.  Mr. Boosalis’ mastery includes sourcing, the evaluation of investments and structuring those transactions, acquisitions, and the raising of private capital.  He has held financial, strategic planning, and budgeting roles as well.

He was a Vice-President in the Equity Capital Markets Division of both Dain Bosworth (RBC Wealth Management) and Piper Jaffray (Piper Sandler).

Alex has also served as a Lead Market Maker on the Pacific Coast Options Exchange where he was positioned as an Independent Exchange Member managing markets and positions on over 35 U.S. equities. 

Milestone

Mr. Boosalis helped lead the acquisitions, executions, and corporate turnarounds of two large manufacturing facilities of which were slated to be closed.

Mr. Alex Boosalis holds an MBA from The University of Iowa, a BSME from the University of Minnesota, and is a CFA Charter Holder.
