Career History

Carol Fries has been a consultant with ThreeFive for 12 years, bringing over three decades of Minnesota DOR sales and use tax experience. As a State auditor, Carol loved the challenge of working in the “field” and was assigned larger cases where she could conduct statistical audits. She enjoyed the ultimate challenge of adjusting the statistical audit parameters to what was fair and representative to the taxpayer.
Carol contributions to ThreeFive and its clients are primarily tax research in Minnesota and 30 other states and client communications as well as “field work” identifying potential tax refunds.
