Career History

John Engstrom works with ThreeFive providing data, statistical sampling for purpose of meals and entertainment, and research and development studies. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. John began working with the Internal Revenue Service in training in June of 1973 and reported for full time duty as Internal Revenue Agent with IRS in September of 1974, assigned to Field Audit, Tampa, FL. He was assigned as an Agent of the Federal Grand Jury from 1977 to 1979, tasked with investigating organized crime’s influence on port-related activities. In May of 1980, he was selected as Computer Audit Specialist for a cadre of specialists numbering less than 250 nationwide. He served in this capacity until January of 2014.
