Career History

Marc is a seasoned tax professional based in Buffalo, NY with over 24 years of experience working for RR Donnelly & Sons, the largest commercial printer in the world.  Marc has focused his career on tax considerations affecting the printing industry, including: tax compliance and audit functions; credits and recoveries; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; and process improvements.  He is also an experienced people manager overseeing a satellite office of tax professionals to support the company’s indirect tax functions.

Marc has played critical roles in two very large multi-billion dollar mergers as well as over 15 smaller scale acquisitions and divestitures (multi-million to billion dollars in size) encompassing over 100 facilities.  He is skilled at identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies and executing plans to integrate operations into one company.  Marc is also focused on process and operational improvements in day-to-day business functions, excelling at maximizing tax cost-savings. Marc has an extensive background in multi-state compliance and auditing and has had proven success mitigating risk while simultaneously minimizing tax liability.  Marc currently oversees multi-state tax compliance for numerous legal entities and has been involved in over 75 State examinations.

Marc holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.  He lives with his family in the city of Buffalo and enjoys running, playing hockey, skiing and spending time with his family and friends.
