Senior Advisor, Tax Strategies
Todd joined ThreeFive as an advisor to the company in 2015. He is currently a Tax Director for The Mosaic Company and specializes in Controversies. Before that, he was a Senior Manager in the Minneapolis office of Grant Thornton, having joined the firm from 3M Company. Todd has a rich mix of over 11 years experience in public accounting and private industry experience and has served a variety of public and private companies including financial service, manufacturing, distribution, and service companies.
Todd’s technical background and experiences are very broad. He has assisted clients in solving many complex tax and business issues, including fixed asset optimization (“Cost Segregation”) studies, Property and Sales and Use tax minimization, accounting method issues, research and development credits, Low Income Housing and Energy credits, Escheat and federal, state and local Controversy management and strategy.
Todd has training as a Six Sigma Black Belt and is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve JAG Corps.
